OVERVIEW
Tyche® Pedicle Screw System is a low-profile, in-line, mono & poly axial spinal fixation system, providing simple adjustability and stable construct. The Tyche® Pedicle Screw System is a series of pedicle screws indicated for the treatment of severe spondylolisthesis (Grade 3 and 4) of the L5-S1 vertebrae and for providing immobilization and stabilization of spinal segments in skeletally mature patients as an adjunct to fusion in the treatment.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
The transpedicular screws of Tych® system meets all the needs of the surgeon and allows for optimal adaptation in accordance with the anatomical requirements of the patient thanks to modular structure and versatility.
- Low profile provides 40° variable angular movement and allows simple 3D corrections.
- Self-tapping minimizes any neural damage and provides maximum pull-out strength.
- Simple locking process maximizes locking performance and contributes to overall low-profile.
- Reduction screws provide controlled and gradual anatomical reduction and simply break them off to remove.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
- Chronic instabilities or deformities of the thoracic, lumbar and sacral spine
- Degenerative spondylolisthesis with objective evidence of neurological impairment, fracture, dislocation, scoliosis, kyphosis, spinal tumor and failed previous fusion
INSTRUMENTS
Tyche® Pedicle Screw System comprises ergonomically designed instrumentation in order to afford mechanical support and stability in vertebral surgery.
